Adriatic Space Conference a regional conference dedicated to cooperation in space sciences and technologies, will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Ruđer Bošković Institute it was announced on Wednesday.
The theme of this year’s conference is artificial intelligence in space, and it will be attended by top world experts in artificial intelligence, space exploration, aeronautics and space technologies.
In addition to domestic aerospace experts, the conference will bring together representatives of space agencies, associations of aerospace companies as well as scientists from development and research institutions.
Invited lectures will be given by eminent experts Ricarda Duca from the European Space Agency, Jörgen Ahlberg from the Swedish AB Linköping University (Visage Technologies), and Bojan Jerbić i Tomislav Stipančić from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture (FSB), University of Zagreb.
After the lectures and discussions, there will be a “Night under the stars at the RBI”, a traditional popular science event of night sky observation, which will be held at the Ruđer Bošković Institute.
It will begin at 8 pm with a lecture Ante Radonić about the James Webb Space Telescope. From 9 pm to 11 pm, telescope observation of the night sky begins. The “Night Under the Stars” event is open to all visitors, but entry and parking by vehicle within the Visitor Institute is not possible.
