3-magnitude earthquake 2 km north of Shorzha

A 3-magnitude earthquake shook the territory of Armenia this evening, the epicenter was 2 kilometers north of Shorzha village of Gegharkunik region.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a magnitude 2․4 earthquake at a depth of 10 km was registered by the seismological network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service at 18:57 local time (14:57 Greenwich Mean Time) with a latitude of 40.52 degrees north latitude and 45.27 degrees east longitude. :

The earthquake was felt in Chambarak town of Gegharkunik, in Shorzha village with a magnitude of 2-3.
