Nicolás Maduro expressed solidarity with Hezbollah for the death of Hassan Nasrallah and urged the Arab world to “raise your voice”

The president of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro express its solidarity with the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah for the assassination of its general secretary, Hassan Nasrallah called on the Arab people to “raise their voices”.

Maduro, who remains in power after controversial presidential elections on July 28, referred to the attacks by Israeli forces against a headquarters of the Arab armed group during an event held on Saturday night in Caracas.

“Today the assassination of a leader of the Muslim world, of the Arab peoples, Mr. Hassan Nasrallah, secretary general of Hezbollah, was announced and I want to express, on behalf of the historical revolutionary bloc of the Bolivarian forces of Venezuelasolidarity with Hezbollah, with his family, with the people of Lebanon“.

He then maintained that the attack was ordered “from New York headquarters”where the United Nations building is located.

Furthermore, he criticized “the cowards of the world” who, unlike his call to the Arab world, “are silent.”

“But to the rebellious peoples, no one will silence our voices. That is why I call on the peoples of the world, the Muslim peoples, the Arab peoples to raise your voice and stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people, with the people of Lebanon“, said.

Previously, the Chavista vice president, Diosdado Cabello, had also spoken out on the matter.

“We from here, modestly, raise our voice and give a hug to the Palestinian people, we give a hug to all the people of Lebanon and we ask them not to give up, not to give up, the people of Venezuela are with them,” said, reports the EFE agency, the also Minister of the Interior in a demonstration called to support the controversial re-election of the president.

Cabello said that the Maduro administration recognizes the struggles of the Palestinian people, which is why he repudiated the “genocide of Israeli Zionism against the people of Palestine,” as well as the “terrorist attacks directed from Israel against Lebanon.”

Likewise, the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry published a statement in which condemns “in the strongest terms” the Israeli bombings in southern Lebanon that left at least 25 dead on Friday, including Nasrallah.

“Venezuela condemns in the strongest terms the attacks perpetrated by Israel in the south of Beirut and its surroundings (…) causing an atrocious massacre that left, at least, 25 people died and 108 injuredin addition to the assassination of the political leader of the Lebanese militia, Hassan Nasrallah, secretary general of Hezbollah,” the Foreign Ministry said.

The Executive urged world leaders to take immediate action to stop the advance of “this dangerous terrorist escalation.”

The Israeli Army reported this Saturday that it also killed Hasan Jalil Yasin, a senior member of the group’s intelligence system, in a new bombing in the southern suburbs of Beirut, known as Dahye.
