A girl who survived a shooting at a Texas school with chilling testimony

Texas Massacre: Mia Serio, 11, who survived the mass shooting that took place in Yuvaldi, told CNN today (Friday) about the tragic incident. Serio said she feared the killer would come back for her so she smeared herself with her friend’s blood and pretended to be dead.

The girl also said that she and her classmates watched the movie “Lilo and Stitch” when the teachers were informed that there was a shooter in the building. She said one teacher went to lock the door but the shooter stood there and fired from the window.

Mia said that everything happened so fast, the teacher withdrew to class and the shooter followed her. “The shooter looked one of the teachers in the eye, said ‘good night’ and then shot her,” she said. He then opened fire and shot the second teacher and many of Mia’s friends.

According to her, bullets flew near her, and fractures hit her shoulders and head, the girl was later treated at the hospital and released. Mia said that after shooting students in her class, the shooter passed through a door into a nearby classroom. And she heard screams, and gunshots in that class.

However, after the shootings stopped, she says he started making sad music. She described music as a kind of “you want people to die”. The girl and her friends were able to dial from the phone of one of the teachers to the emergency center.

“It felt like I was lying there for three hours, covered in my girlfriend’s blood,” she told CNN. When she told this part during the interview, she started crying, saying she just did not understand why the cops did not go inside and rescue them.
