The Berlin duo SDP has taken over the top of the album charts with a best-of album. The two musicians Vincent Stein and Dag-Alexis Kopplin secured the top rank for the third time – this time with “Best of 25 Years of SDP”, as GfK Entertainment announced as chart investigators. Their compilation “follows in the footsteps of “The Neverending Story” and “A Good Bad Role Model,” which won in 2019 and 2022,” it said.
The band uses various genres and has worked in the past with rappers Sido and Finch, among others.
In addition to SDP, there are other newcomers to the album charts: German singer Berq lands in second place with his self-titled debut album. The rapper Ufo361 secured third place with “Nur für dich 2”.
Eminem, on the other hand, has been on the German hit list for a long time and is in fourth place this week with “The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce)”. Abba’s compilation “The Singles (The First Fifty Years)” debuts on Five.
Shirin David in the top 5 twice
There is no movement at the top of the singles charts. As in previous weeks, Linkin Park secured the top spot with “The Emptiness Machine”. Shirin David is in the top 5 of the single charts twice. Together with the musician Sampagne she secured second place this week with “It Girl”. Her hit “Belly Legs Po” is at number three.
Billie Eilish’s song “Birds Of A Feather” is proving to be a long-running hit and is back at number four in the singles charts this week. The rapper Lacazette lands behind with “HDL”.
