Brussels – AFP, European Union President Antonio Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stressed, on Thursday, that the United States and Europe “are stronger together,” in response to statements made by US President-elect Donald Trump regarding Greenland, which raised “the lack of Understanding” among the Europeans. Costa and von der Leyen said in two separate but identical messages that they published on the “X” platform: “We look forward to positive dealings with the new American administration, based on our common values and common interests. In a world full of challenges, Europe and the United States are stronger together. However, the letter did not address the recent controversial statements.
