German Chancellor Angela Merkel called today in Aachen for her last rally, so that in the name of the future, voters will vote for the conservative Armin Laschet in the parliamentary elections tomorrow.

“It’s about your future, the future of your children and the future of their parents, and only every fourth year do you have the opportunity to decide on that at the federal level,” said Merkel, who is leaving after 16 years in power.

She added that the world is changing and that Lachet will have a lot of work as the new chancellor.

Around 60.4 million Germans have the opportunity tomorrow to decide in the federal elections on the future composition of the parliament and, indirectly, on the future chancellor, who will succeed Angela Merkel.
