Egyptian man on trial for slitting girlfriend’s throat

The trial of Muhammad Adel, who confessed to the premeditated murder of 21-year-old student Naira Ashraf, began at the Mansoura Criminal Court, 130 kilometers north of Cairo. The girl paid with her life for refusing to marry Muhammad.

Meanwhile, in Jordan, 37-year-old Jordanian Uday Khalid Abdala Hasan committed suicide, having previously shot student Iman Arshid. The criminal was tracked down by the police, he refused to surrender. It is assumed that in this case, the rejected courtship became the motive.
