“We have not received a clear explanation as to why Azerbaijan has postponed its meeting with Hikmet Haji,” Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan told reporters.
“It was scheduled for 27-28, before that we had an agreed day, but they were postponed, it is not yet known clear reasons why Azerbaijan has postponed,” Grigoryan stressed.
The Secretary of the Security Council stated that he had information that the meeting might take place in the near future.
The fact that the Azerbaijani side canceled the Grigoryan-Haji meeting in Brussels was announced by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at an online press conference on June 27, reminding that earlier meetings between Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan and Azerbaijani Presidential Adviser Hikmet Haji had taken place.
The last meeting between the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia and the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan took place on May 3 in Brussels.
