Weilburg – Is that the sad certainty we feared?
In the evening hours of Easter Sunday, a child’s lifeless body was recovered from the Lahn. “With a very high probability, it is the 6-year-old boy from Weilburg, who has been missing since March 25, 2025.” Pawlos!

The delicate, autistic boy with the dark curls had disappeared from the lessons of his special school in Weilburg that day. Up to 600 emergency services always searched a radius of three kilometers around the small town.
The police informed canoe drivers
The whole city took part in the fate of the boy and his family – everyone who could have helped. Even special pilot from the Bundeswehr were requested to find the boy. But the search was unsuccessful – until now.
At 6 p.m., a canoe driver alerted the police. He had discovered the lifeless children’s body in the area of a transfer of the B456 across the Lahn.
Fire brigade, emergency services and police immediately moved to the site. There, an emergency doctor could only determine the boy’s death.
