The causes of the death of Pope Francis are named: a stroke and cardiac arrest

The head of the Health and Hygiene Department of the Vatican, Dr. Andrea Arkandel, made an official statement about the causes of the death of the head of the Catholic Church of Pope Francis, who died on the morning of April 21 at the 89th year of his life.

According to the document, the pontiff suffered a stroke, which led to someone and heart arrest. Death was confirmed by an electrocardiogram. The statement also mentions other diseases from which Francis suffered: respiratory system diseases, increased pressure, diabetes.

The Italian media suggest that the funeral of the Pope will be held on April 26. According to tradition, the pontiff should be buried in the interval between the fourth and sixth day after his death. According to the testament, Francis should be devoted to the Earth not in the Vatican, but in the church of Santa Maria-Majore.
