Hamas delegation arrived in Cairo to resume negotiations with Israel

The Al-Khadat Saudi channel reports that in the coming days a new round of negotiations on the release of hostages and the termination of hostilities in the Gaza sector will be held in Cairo and Doha.

The channel reports that the delegation of Hamas, led by a member of the Politburo of the Khalil al-Haya group, has already arrived in Cairo. She will discuss efforts with Egyptian intermediaries to reach the ceasefire.

A few days ago, Al-Haya announced that the group rejects Israel’s proposal. “Netanyahu put forward impossible conditions that would not lead to the cessation of hostilities, or to the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza sector,” he said.

“We are ready to immediately begin negotiations on the release of all prisoners (hostages) in our hands, in exchange for the release of the agreed number of prisoners. In exchange, the IDF must stop the fighting and leave the Gaza sector,” said Halil al-Haya.
