Reuters: Trump no longer requires Saudi Arabia to recognize Israel in exchange for a nuclear agreement

According to Reuters, citing informed sources, US President Donald Trump no longer links the US-Saudi-Saudi cooperation agreement in the nuclear sphere with the kingdom to normalize relations with Israel.

The agency notes: we are talking about a significant assignment from the United States. The previous President Joe Biden insisted on the connection of a nuclear theme agreement with the recognition of Saudi Arabia Israel, as well as with a military agreement with the United States, in which Er-Riyad is extremely interested.

The leadership of Saudi Arabia has repeatedly stated that the condition for normalizing relations with Israel is real Israeli steps aimed at creating a Palestinian state, disrupting Biden’s efforts to expand the “Avraama agreements”.
