Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi denied the message of the British intelligence services about Tehran’s involvement in an attempt to organize a terrorist attack against the Israeli embassy in London. He wrote about this on the social network X.
“In the media, information about the involvement of Iran citizens in the alleged terrorist attack against the Israeli embassy in London. Iran categorically rejects the statements of involvement in such actions, and also states that we did not receive information about suspicions through diplomatic channels,” he wrote.
“Iran calls on the UK to send an official request so that we can help the investigation. But the fact of the absence of such an appeal indicates the absence of something,” the minister added.
On May 7, British Security Service reports a prevented terrorist attack against the Israeli embassy in London: a group of Iranians, on suspicions of the special services, planned to commit an attack at the Embassy of the Jewish state in Kensington. Employees of the anti -terrorist police, with the support of special forces, detained the suspects from fear that the attack was inevitable.
