The mayor of the city of Adan Zeidan Karalara, the mayor of the city of Adyyaman Abdurrahman Tutder and the mayor of the city of Antalya Muhittin Bodzhek are suspected of corruption. The affairs of the mayors of Adan and Adyyaman, according to the Turkish agency Anadolu, are connected, and the mayor of Antalya is in a separate case, Medusa reports.

A day earlier, on July 4, the former mayor of Izmir Tunch Soyer and the chairman of the province of Izmir Shenol Aslanoglu were sent to custody. They are also accused of corruption crimes.
