The Union of Education Workers of Serbia (SPRS) announced today that it is almost impossible to find a replacement for employees with kovida.19 in schools, stating that the biggest reason is the amount of salaries.
“This should be a clear signal before the adoption of the budget for education, which is still at the bottom of the European scale. We remind you that the Union of CPSU is committed to the ratio of salaries in the ratio of one to three, where the minimum wages for auxiliary workers and aunts are around 32,000 dinars , depending on the number of working hours per month), two would be our administrative workers (around 64,000 dinars), and the coefficient three would be borne by all university graduates in schools (around 96,000 dinars), “the union said in a statement.
They add that employment in primary and secondary schools is “not attractive to young people”, and that in addition to staff that has been missing for a long time, which includes mathematicians, computer scientists, physicists, foreign language teachers, there are currently not enough native language teachers and teachers.
“If the Government of Serbia continues to ignore the employees in schools and kindergartens, we warn that the lack of staff will permanently ruin the quality of teaching and its uninterrupted development,” claim the Union of Education Workers of Serbia.
