The Adult Education Center (VHS) Potsdam offers free online lectures every month to make knowledge about climate protection generally accessible. The ongoing lecture series “Climate and Us” is part of the “vhs goes green” project, in which numerous adult education centers in Germany are involved.
The upcoming webinars will focus on how climate change affects people’s everyday lives – from health aspects to consumer issues, the town hall announced.
The next lecture will deal with the topic of climate and health and will take place online on Tuesday from 6 to 7.30 p.m. It explains what effects the climate crisis has on physical and mental health and what preventive measures can look like.
Further dates in the series are December 3rd with the topic of climate and digitalization and January 27th on climate and consumption. Registration is required and is possible at vhs.potsdam.de.
