In an angry response broadcast on the Egyptian TeN channel, and on his official YouTube channel, al-Dihi called al-Rashad “the most stupid (vile) in the Arab press” and rejected his analysis outright. “Go read a map. Go learn geography, go learn history,” A-Dihi slapped him.
“Israel will not be a key country and will not be able to shape the future of this region. Israel is an appendage in a sick region… an active cancer cell in a sick body.” A-Dihi claimed that al-Rashad is trying to “wipe out Egypt and Iran” and ignores basic facts.
He emphasized: “The only constant in the region is Egypt. This is what history says and geography says.” The sharp attack reveals the deep rift in Arab worldviews regarding Israel’s future position in the Middle East.
