The Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha killed his country’s supporters in the defensive battle against Russia Money for drone production requested. Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin will only end the war if two factors occur, he wrote on Platform X. On the one hand, Putin must “lose the illusion” that he can still win on the battlefield. On the other hand, the price of continuing the war must exceed the price of ending the war.
“The modern arms race is not about nuclear weapons, but about millions of inexpensive drones,” the minister wrote. “Those who can ramp up production faster will ensure peace.” The Ukrainian defense industry needs money for this. “We can produce up to 20 million drones next year if we get sufficient funding.” Sybiha did not name a specific amount.
Ukraine has been producing tens of thousands of different drones for months. The unmanned flying objects are manufactured both by the traditional arms industry and by private companies that are trying to give Ukraine a technological edge with innovative products. Indeed, drones, produced for a fraction of the value of expensive weapons systems, have already provided new forms of warfare.
Both Russia and Ukraine use drones in large numbers. However, the warring parties do not provide exact production figures.
