According to the report, a Pakistani member of the Quds Force told a Ugandan agent three months ago that he was going on a trip to Iran. He says that afterwards, an Iranian member of the Quds Force sent him a WhatsApp message and asked for his cooperation in exchange for money. As the Ugandan citizen says in the video, Quds Force agents called him Rambo, a famous character from an American action movie.

In an interview with Iran International, a knowledgeable source introduced three Iranian members of this sabotage network, referring to this failed operation. According to this source, their names are Maysam Sahraei, Reza Havadi and Abbas Muhammad Naim, and they work in Unit 840 of the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards.

This unit is responsible for attacking Iran’s opponents from outside and Israeli and American targets. An Iranian member of the Quds Force network, who was active in the plan to attack the Israeli embassies in Uganda and Senegal, sent a picture of a grenade to the Ugandan agent on WhatsApp and asked him to purchase such a weapon.

The Ugandan agent, who according to Iran International’s investigations is a construction worker, confirmed that the goal was to attack the Israeli embassies. He said that the network’s Iranian contact agreed to his request to deposit the costs of the operation into his account after consulting with someone he called the head of the network.

The report claims that Iran approached this African country with a broader perspective and for a more comprehensive goal. A source at Mahan Airlines told Iran International that the Revolutionary Guards are transferring weapons to African countries using a Boeing 747 with a registration code belonging to Fars Qeshm Air, for transfer to its final destination in Yemen.

Information from the International Flight Registry shows that on October 25, this Boeing jet flew from Bandar Abbas to the city of Entebbe in Uganda. According to this source, due to the heavy weapons load, the plane first flew from Tehran to Lavender Abbas that morning, and after refueling at the city’s airport, headed to Uganda. The same plane flew again from Tehran to Uganda on November 26, 2019, carrying weapons. Data from the Flight Radar 24 website confirms these flights.
