In Italy, they started injecting a vaccine against monkeypox

At the “Spalanzani” hospital in Rome, the capital of Italy, they started injecting those who wish with the vaccine against monkeypox. The administration of the hospital reported that 600 people applied for vaccination.

Those who wish are injected with the Jynneos vaccine, which is produced by the Bavarian Nordic company.

As of August 5, 545 cases of monkeypox have been reported in Italy. The World Health Organization declared monkeypox a “public health emergency of international concern” in July.
