The mutilated and decapitated body of a young woman was found on Monday in the French Mont-Saint-Martin, at the border between Belgium-France-Luxembourg.
According to the public prosecutor’s office in Nancy, it was a passer-by who made the gruesome discovery. An autopsy will be done on the body as soon as possible.
Last Thursday, another decapitated body was found about fifty kilometers south of the border municipality. That find was also made by a hiker. The prosecutor’s office has already said that the man’s death happened several months ago. There is currently no connection between the two cases, the prosecutor said.
