Drama on Russian streets: People do not want to go to war in Ukraine, shooting was also heard

The protest against the mobilization of more people for the Russian army continued in the Russian republic of Dagestan.

Namely, the footage circulating on social networks shows the conflict between the police and people on the streets of that republic.

Novaya Gazeta posted the video on its Twitter account, and the video shows the police arresting the protesters.

The order will mobilize thousands of Russians to take part in the war in Ukraine, reports The Guardian.

Apparently, the capital of the Russian republic of Dagestan, Makhachkala, is the focus of the protests. Some roads are also blocked.

– Dagestan is quickly becoming the “most problematic” region of Russia. People gathered this morning to protest against the mobilization on the Hasavjurt-Mahačkala highway near the village of Endirej. Machine gun fire can be heard – journalist Tadeus Gican wrote on his Twitter.
