Once again, the CEO of Pfizer was infected with COVID-19

Albert Burla, CEO of Pfizer, said that he had tested positive for COVID-19.

“I feel fine and have no symptoms,” he added in a statement.

Burla, 60, had contracted Covid-19 in August and began treatment with his company’s drug Baxilvid, and received four doses of the anti-coronavirus vaccine developed by Pfizer and its German partner Biontech.

The CEO said he had not yet taken the booster dose of the new bivalent vaccine.

The bivalent vaccine, developed by Moderna and the Pfizer and Biotech team, is intended to counteract the sub-mutants of Omicron, PA4 and PA5.

Borla said he has yet to get that dose “because I’ve been following CDC guidelines to wait three months since my previous infection with Covid, which was in mid-August.”
