Paper straws produced in Serbia are being withdrawn from the market

The State Inspectorate has withdrawn from the market the paper straw ARO, a producer from Serbia, which is placed on the market by METRO, the Croatian Agency for Agriculture and Food reported on Tuesday.

ARO paper straws FI8 black, 250/1 and 100/1 are being recalled due to an increased amount of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one.

The product does not comply with the Ordinance on the health safety of materials and objects that come into direct contact with food and the Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council.
