“Freedom Flotilla” is preparing a new attempt to break the blockade of Gaza

The “International Freedom Flotilla Committee” held a meeting in London at which it was decided to resume the activity of the flotilla. The organizers, cited by Maan, said that the coronavirus pandemic was the reason for the cessation of attempts to break the naval blockade of Gaza.

The meeting was attended by representatives of Sweden, Norway, France, Spain, Italy, New Zealand, Malaysia, Turkey, Canada, the USA, South Africa and Great Britain, as well as functionaries of the International Flotilla Committee and activists of other pro-Palestinian organizations.

“We will intensify our efforts, expand our contacts in order to put an end to the illegal, criminal and inhuman blockade of the sector. We will once again break through the naval blockade,” said the head of the International Committee, Zahir Birawi.
