The current president of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, won today’s second round of the presidential elections relatively easily.

Radev, backed by several “change” parties, won between 63 per cent and 65 per cent of the vote, according to exit estimates made by three polling institutes.

This expected victory will strengthen the anti-corruption movement involved in negotiations on forming a government and overcoming the political crisis in Bulgaria.
