PA head urges ICC to issue arrest warrant for Bezalel Smotrich

The head of the government of the Palestinian Autonomy, Muhammad Ash-Shtayyeh, called on the International Criminal Court (ICC) to issue an arrest warrant for Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who said two weeks ago that “the state should wipe Hauaru off the face of the earth.”

The riots in Haouar occurred on February 26 after a terrorist attack killed the brothers Hillel Menahem and Yagel Yaakov Yaniv, who lived in the village of Ar Braha, not far from Haouara. During the riots, damage was caused to buildings and cars.
