Serbia: A driver under the influence of alcohol and cocaine seriously injured a pedestrian
A 23-year-old man is suspected of causing a car accident under the influence of alcohol and cocaine early this morning, in which a 27-year-old girl was seriously injured, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia announced.

According to the statement, he was driving a Renault Twingo when he ran into a girl at 3.20 this morning and seriously injured him, and tests determined that he had 1.96 per mille of alcohol in his body and that he was positive for cocaine.

The driver was detained in the official premises of the police, and criminal charges for endangering public traffic will be filed against him, as well as the appropriate misdemeanor charges, it is stated in the announcement.
