Earthquake of 6.6 magnitude in the Chinese province of Qinghai

A strong 6.6 magnitude earthquake hit the Chinese province of Qinghai, located in the north-west of the country. This was announced by the geological institute of the United States. The epicenter of the quake, recorded at 17:45 GMT at a depth of 10 kilometers, is approximately 140 kilometers northwest of the city of Xining.
