Stepanyan reported dozens killed on the first day of fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh/Artsakh

The Commissioner for Human Rights in the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, Gegham Stepanyan, reported 25 deaths as a result of the actions of the Azerbaijani army on September 19.

“According to information received by the office of the human rights defender from the Stepanakert morgue, as of 20:00, as a result of the full-scale aggression on the part of Azerbaijan, there are 25 dead, including two civilians,” Stepanyan said on the social network X/Twitter.

According to him, due to the lack of fuel and communications, the delivery of victims and wounded to Stepanakert is difficult.
