The moment of horror for the Israeli journalist in Kiev: Today (Sunday), a news correspondent here, Dov Gil Har, experienced unpleasant moments when he wanted to report on what was happening in the Ukrainian capital, during the war that is raging in the country after the Russian invasion. Local police officers, who did not recognize that he was an Israeli journalist, fired into the air to warn him.

Following the shooting, Gil Har raised both his hands and carefully removed his mobile device, in order to present the journalist’s certificate to the Ukrainian security personnel. After clarifying the identity of the journalist, the police instructed Gil Har to re-enter the hotel.
