Parents of missing Natacha (28) return from Peru with many questions

The parents of Natacha de Crombrugge, the Belgian who has been missing in Peru for more than a month, return to our country. No news about their daughter. In the meantime, the investigation and especially the search continue.

The Peruvian police confirm to the local newspaper La República that the parents are coming back to Belgium. They followed the search for their daughter closely for two weeks and also met the three Belgian investigators who went there.

The police chief of the Arequipa region, Miguel Cayetano, now says that Eric and Sabine de Crombrugghe are leaving but that the investigation does not stop.

On the morning of January 24, the day of her disappearance, Natacha de Crombrugghe had left a backpack in her hotel room. She was going to hike the Colca Canyon. After that, no one has seen or heard from her.

Rescue teams searched the region, but to no avail. The chief of the rescuers, a man who has managed to find several missing persons in the past, says he is convinced that the girl fell into the water.
