Russia draws up a list of ‘enemy countries’, including Belgium: what does this mean?

The Russian government has drawn up a list of countries that are “hostile” towards Russia. Russian companies and citizens are allowed to repay their debts to the countries on this list in rubles, at the prevailing exchange rate that day. “It is a way to appease the companies in our own country, but it is mainly never seen”, says financial economist Tom Simonts.
