The founder of a high – tech company describes the attempt to rescue Jews and Israelis from Ukraine

Guy Amar One of the founders of the high-tech company ‘Group 107’, was interviewed today (Tuesday) on the program of Ben Caspit and Aryeh Eldad on 103FM and referred to the attempt to rescue workers from his company, including Jews and Israelis, from Lvov, Ukraine.

“There is an official order issued by the Ukrainian government that says men between the ages of 18 and 60 can not work, but the Ukrainian High-Tech Association has made an official appeal to MPs to help preserve our male workforce,” Amar said at the beginning of the interview. “Out is about 10 percent of all men who work for the company. I believe that in the coming days we will reach the 50 percent area and that will allow more men to go out.”

“Many come to us mainly from the battle zones. We fired some of our workers before the invasion began. We listened more to the US State Department than to the Israeli government which was not sure things would happen. That way, I found myself rescuing Israelis and Jews from all over Ukraine. “Unfortunately, the government does not accede to the request, and does not allow those refugees to arrive,” he claimed.

“I refer people to the Jewish Agency. We see hundreds of requests, but I am not an official body, I am a private person, and those numbers are insane,” Amar added. “40 percent of the high-tech environment in Ukraine works for Israeli companies.”
