More than two million people fled Ukraine to Poland

More than two million people fled from the Russian attack to Ukraine from Ukraine, the Polish border police announced today.

“Today, March 18, at 9 am, the number of refugees from Ukraine exceeded two million. Most of them are women with children,” the border police said in a short statement on Twitter.

Border police officers are providing assistance to Ukrainian refugees after crossing the border, the statement added.

Russia launched an attack on Ukraine on February 24.
