96 – year – old Boris survived the Holocaust concentration camps and was killed by bombs in Kharkov

Russia-Ukraine War: In the shadow of the 26th day of the Russian invasion, reports continue of the heavy bombing of the Russian army over large parts of the country and the number of wounded and killed continues to grow. Meanwhile, the Holocaust memorial site of Dora-Mittelbau announced today (Monday) that last Friday, he passed away Boris Romantchko 96-year-old, during an attack by the Russian army in the city of Kharkiv.

A statement from the website said that “a bomb hit the building where he lived and his apartment burned down.” Boris is a Holocaust survivor who survived in many concentration camps during World War II. Among the camps that survived were Buchenwald, Bergen-Belsen, Dora-Mittelbau and the Panamida labor camp where he was forced to help build Nazi V2 missiles.
