Mediation efforts continue: Talks between Ukraine and Russia will resume in Turkey

Russian Invasion of Ukraine – Day 32: Negotiations between Moscow and Kiev will resume tomorrow (Monday) in Turkey, the director of negotiations on behalf of the Ukrainian government said.

Meanwhile, Turkish Presidential spokesman Erdogan said his country supports the unity and sovereignty of Ukraine. The spokesman, Ibrahim Kalin, told Al-Jazeera that the war was not justified but that channels of communication with Russia should be kept open. “Turkey is trying to end the war in Ukraine through a dialogue with Moscow and Kiev,” he added.

At the same time, fighting on Ukrainian soil continues, with Adviser to President Zalansky saying today that the forces are carrying out small offensive operations while the Russian army is trying to encircle its forces in the east of the country.

At the same time, the head of Ukrainian intelligence, Kirilo Bodnov, claimed that Russia was trying to split Ukraine into two separate countries, since it had failed to occupy the country as it had hoped. “In fact, this is an attempt to create North and South Korea in Ukraine,” he clarified. He also predicts that guerrilla warfare in his country will begin soon, in areas that Russia has occupied.
