According to a statement issued by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine this afternoon, there is an active redeployment of Russian units in the north of the country.

“In the Izium region, south of Kharkov, there are movements of units of the 20th all-powerful և 1st tank army operating within the Russian Armed Forces. “Russian troops are fortifying their positions north of the border, gathering near the Chernobyl nuclear power plant,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

According to the mayor of Ki, Vitali Klitschko, the Russian troops did not leave the area near Ki.

“Explosions were heard all night in the suburbs of the capital, which indicates that fighting continues here, people continue to die,” Klitschko said.
