Putin congratulates Hungarian Prime Minister on his party’s victory in parliamentary elections

On Monday, April 4, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on his party Fidesz’s and allies’ parliamentary election victory.

President Vladimir Putin extended a congratulatory letter to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on the occasion of his party coalition’s win in parliamentary elections, according to a statement released by the Russian president (the Kremlin) and published by the “Russia Today” news channel.

Putin stated, “Despite the challenging world environment, we are certain that the continued development of bilateral ties completely meets the interests of the Russian and Hungarian peoples.”

It should be mentioned that Viktor Orban confirmed his party’s win in the country’s elections on Sunday earlier today.
