Israeli Health Minister visits Ukraine: “Massacres committed here”

Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz visited the Kochav Meir Hospital established by Israel in western Ukraine, and met with his Ukrainian counterpart and chairman of the local parliament’s health committee. “Israel is on the side of the Ukrainian people, and we will continue to offer help as part of our moral duty, and as part of being part of the family of democratic peoples,” he said.

 

In his remarks, Horowitz noted the number of patients treated so far at the Israeli facility: “More than 2,000 women, women and children were treated at our field hospital here. Israel is the only country that has established such a facility within Ukraine. This is the face of the Israeli health system.”
