Blinken and Lecornu talked about providing military aid to Ukraine

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and French Defense Minister S├ębastien Lecorne today visited the French military industrial enterprise, where the manufactured warheads are also supplied to Ukraine.

Regarding the provision of military aid to Ukraine, Blinken expressed hope that the US Congress will approve the additional allocations proposed by President Biden as soon as possible.

“It is necessary now, it is necessary immediately,” emphasized the Secretary of State.

The Minister of Defense of France said that France will continue supplying ammunition to Ukraine, which he assessed as a “key issue”.

Blinken visited France before leaving for Brussels, where he will participate in the meeting of NATO foreign ministers on April 3, and a tripartite meeting of the US Secretary of State, the President of the European Commission and the Prime Minister of Armenia is scheduled for April 5.
