Dozens of Russian diplomats are being deported to a number of European countries. Germany – 40, Italy – 30, Sweden – 3, Denmark – 15, Spain – 25 Russian diplomats are deported.
Earlier, France, Lithuania and Latvia expelled the Russian ambassadors. Latvia also announced the recall of its ambassador from Moscow.
The deportation of the Russian diplomats takes place against the background of the ongoing war in Ukraine, in particular in response to the news of the massacre of civilians by the Russian military in Bucha.
Moscow denies all the accusations, claiming that the photos and videos of the corpses received from Bucha are “scenes staged” by the Ukrainian authorities.
