The concert of music stars in New York’s Central Park, organized as a celebration of the recovery of that city from the corona virus, was shortened due to bad weather due to the approach of Hurricane Henry.

Officials asked the audience to leave the park during Beria Menilou’s performance due to the possibility of a lightning strike.

The New York police told the visitors to “go peacefully to the nearest exit and then leave the park”, stating that this is not an emergency situation.

The concert featured Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, Jennifer Hudson, Carlos Santana, Andrea Bocelli and other musicians.

A vaccination certificate was required to enter the concert, and the largest number of tickets was distributed free of charge.

New York registered an average of about 2,000 new infections per day this week. About 54 percent of New Yorkers are completely vaccinated against the corona virus.

Hurricane Henry this morning approached the New York island of Long Island and the shores of the southern part of New England, which should be hit by a storm in the middle of the day.
