Putin's intention to visit Turkey is valid. Ushakov

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s intention to visit Turkey remains valid. This was said by Yuri Ushakov, adviser to the president on international affairs.

“The visit itself is on the agenda, and our promises to travel to Ankara or Istanbul naturally remain valid,” Ushakov said.

The dates of Putin’s visit to Turkey have not yet been decided, as the Turkish President Recep Erdogan’s office recently informed.

According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the visit has not yet taken place because it is not possible to combine the work schedules of the leaders of the two countries.

“At the same time, the high-level contacts between the two countries will continue,” the spokesman of the Russian president said a week ago.
