Today, Islamic believers celebrate Eid al-Fitr after a month of fasting, one of the two most important holidays.The president of the Meshihat of the Islamic Community in Serbia, Melvud Dudic, told the Serbian Radio and Television that the holiday was a good opportunity to re-establish the broken family ties, which were contributed to by world events.

The month of Ramadan for Islamic believers ended with the morning prayer, Eid prayer.

Eid al-Fitr always falls on the 1st of Shawwal (10th month of the Muslim calendar) and lasts for three days, during which public ceremonies and visits are organized, and believers exchange gifts.

After the prayer, the men visit the cemetery, remember their ancestors and show them respect. Then they visit family, friends and acquaintances.
