The office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine reported that (as of the morning of May 8, the 74th day of the war), at least 225 children became victims of the military aggression of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, 413 minors were injured.

On May 7, two boys, aged 11 and 14, were killed as a result of shelling by the Russian military of the village of Privolye, Severodonetsk district, Luhansk region, while two girls, aged 8 and 12, were injured.

“Children suffered the most in the Donetsk region – 139, Kyiv – 116, Kharkiv – 98, Chernihiv – 68, Kherson – 46, Mykolaiv – 44, Lugansk – 42, Zaporozhye – 28, Sumy – 17, Kyiv – 16, Zhytomyr – 15 “, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine said in a statement.

Due to the bombing and shelling on the territory of Ukraine, 1635 educational institutions were damaged, 126 of them were completely destroyed.

Apparently, the report of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation has not yet taken into account the victims and those who died as a result of an airstrike on a school in Belogorovka, Lugansk region.
