The head of German diplomacy pays an unannounced visit to Bucha

German Foreign Minister Analena Berbock arrived today on an unannounced visit to Bucha, a Ukrainian city where hundreds of civilians killed since the Russian invasion was launched in March, Agence France-Presse reported.

Burbock began her visit to Bucha, northwest of Kiev, with talks with city residents, the agency said.

After the Russian siege of Bucha, Ukrainian authorities found liquidated civilians on the streets and in mass graves, and some had their hands tied.

The regional governor of Kiev, Oleksandr Pavlyuk, said that at least 1,235 bodies of civilians were found in the area around Kiev.
