Greencitytrip – New night trains to Italy

The Dutch night train provider “GreenCityTrip” is launching a new service in Germany on May 25th. With destinations such as Venice, Florence, Bologna, Milan, Bolzano, Copenhagen and Vienna, he wants to present a sustainable alternative to air travel. The places of departure are initially Cologne, Dortmund and Bad Bentheim in Lower Saxony. The night trains are aimed specifically at holidaymakers who would otherwise have boarded the plane. With a total of 640 beds, the company wants to lure travelers to environmentally friendly alternatives with the appropriate sleeping comfort. Travelers who choose to do so have the option of booking either a package tour (greencitytrip.de) or just the train ticket.
