The Prado turns ‘The Garden of Earthly Delights’ into a game for students to learn about ecology and sustainability

The Prado Museum has turned Bosch’s ‘The Garden of Earthly Delights’ into a game, developed by CrossBorder and Basurama, The aim of this course is for students to acquire knowledge of environmentalism and sustainability and develop their critical thinking for the creation of a work of art.

The game, according to the gallery, aims to Students reflect and discover what future shelters and spaces of mutual care will be that must be fostered, cared for or built.

The tools used in the Game of Delights are Applied and Documentary Theatre and Dance. These tools will help the player to ask themselves ‘How is it possible to take care of one’s body, that of others and of space?’

The initiative is part of the Deslizar programme, a PradoEducación project, which is being developed thanks to the support of the Art Explora Foundation and the collaboration with the Department of Education, Universities, Science and Spokesperson of the Community of Madrid, whose objective is to generate a work and research network on educational innovation around and through art.
